Medical Massage

Medical Massage addresses client discomforts. Unlike Therapeutic Massage, which focuses on relieving stress and tension, medical massage addresses physical discomforts, as well as systemic issues that arise from dysfunction in the soft-tissues of your body. The medical massage therapist releases abnormal soft tissue tension through manual techniques using soft tissue massage, passive and active stretching, range of motion exercises and the use of supportive therapeutic modalities such as heat and cold. I primarily use a combination of the following techniques during medical massage session: Connective Tissue Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Techniques, Neuro-Fascial Massage, Stretching & Positional Release Techniques and Trigger Point Therapy.
